(a) The Bonner Springs Standard Adult Entertainment Code, 1991 Edition, as prepared, compiled and promulgated by Corson & Osborn, P.A., and as amended in 2006 by Perry & Trent, LLC, is hereby adopted as the Standard Adult Entertainment Code of the City.
(b) The City Clerk is hereby directed to maintain one (1) copy of the code stamped, “Official Copy as Incorporated by Ordinance No. 2131,” with all Sections or portions thereof intended to be omitted clearly marked to show any such omissions, or showing the Sections, Articles, Chapters, parts or portions that are incorporated as the case may be and to which shall be attached a copy of the incorporating ordinance. Such copies shall be open to inspection and available to the public at all reasonable business hours. The Police Department, Police Judge, and all administrative departments of the City charged with the enforcement of the code shall be supplied a copy of such code without cost, all such copies marked as indicated above.
(c) Copies of the 1991 Edition, with 2006 amendments, of the Adult Entertainment Code and copies of the incorporation ordinance, may be obtained from the City Clerk.

In the event any Section of this code is in conflict or apparent conflict with the planning, zoning or subdivision regulations or ordinances, the provisions of the planning, zoning or subdivision ordinances shall prevail and those provisions of this code now or hereafter in conflict with such regulations or ordinances shall be deemed invalid or inapplicable only as to such conflict.

In the event any Section or provision of the Adult Entertainment Code, 1991 Edition, is held invalid or is in conflict with State law or regulations, the invalidity of that Section or provision shall not affect the validity of the balance of the Sections or provisions of such code.

Pursuant to the authority of Charter Ordinance No. 29, the Planning Director, City Clerk or other City Employee as designated in writing by the City Manager shall have the authority to issue notices to appear for violations of this ordinance.
