Mobile Food Vendor shall mean any person, corporation, association, or other entity, however organized, that offers food and/or beverage for sale from a Mobile Food Truck.

Mobile Food Truck shall mean any self-contained vehicle, trailer, cart, or other type of conveyance from which food and/or beverage is offered for sale.

A Food Truck Inspection Permit is required for mobile food preparation vehicles equipped with appliances that produce smoke or grease-laden vapors.

A valid food truck inspection permit from a county or metropolitan Kansas City area mobile food preparation vehicle inspection program may be approved by the fire code official in lieu of a separate City permit.
